Sweet!

Where to begin?! Opening Day was a massive success. Thank you, Asheville, for all your love and support. I think this is the beginning of something very, very beautiful. I hope to have some photos soon of the epic cupcake eating contest between my best friend Lexi and my brother Mitch. For now, here's the first few pictures from yesterday's opening day at the cake shop:

Oh, everybody wishes they could've been there! Jodi, i took those cupcakes home to Helen (i was a good boy) and we shared them over the next couple of days and have never tasted cakes with so much real flavor! Honestly, it reminds us how much crappy corn sweeteners and processed sugars and foods are in most things and how much just wonderful flavor you had in every cupcake we bought.

I could go on, but i'm probably preachin' to the converted!

Still thank you so much for being in our neighborhood. You really help us make West Asheville proud.

We were so glad we were a part of the opening day success. The best part was eating delicious cake, but almost as sweet was walking out of our house having told our 3-year-old son that we were going to a cake shop, walking by our car, him saying, "We're walking there?" and me saying yes and him saying, "Hooray!" Hooray indeed! Here's to the cake shop enjoying a long and happy life in our neighborhood!
